If your dreams are filled with heroic adventures across the galaxy, you’ll love this.
If your dreams are filled with heroic adventures across the galaxy with the mighty Avengers, then your dreams are coming true!
Why? Because an Avengers Campus is opening up across the Pacific!
Disneyland & California Adventure Park is in the process of expanding its Marvel ‘universe’ by building a new land completely dedicated to, you guessed it, the Avengers!
Scheduled to open mid-2020 inside California Adventure Park, the new land will sit right alongside the existing ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout‘ ride and offer a completely immersive Marvel experience.
For example, Avengers Campus will have a new ride inspired by Spider-Man, Ant-Man size food, meet and greets with the heroes, and more!
So suit up, here’s what you can expect from Disneyland’s Avengers Campus:
FLING WEBS INSIDE WEB
If Peter Parker is your preferred pal (or you just really enjoy rides), then this is the place you want to be.
The Worldwide Engineering Brigade aka WEB will house the ‘Web Slinger’, a Spider-Man experience that invites riders to sling webs.
Warm up those wrists!
Riders will use sling webs to assist Spidey as he attempts to protect innocent people from a swarm of Spider-Bots.
ENJOY MINIATURE FOOD AT PYM TEST KITCHEN
Literally, bite-sized food.
Disney Parks is using Hank Pym’s ‘Pym Particles’ to cook up unique dishes that grow and shrink. Yep, just like Ant-Man.
The eatery will satisfy all visitors whether they’re looking for a light snack or a fulfilling feast.
Oh, and it’ll have micro-brewery for miniature and over-sized drinks.
FLY TO WAKANDA ON THE QUINJET
Quite possibly the mightiest ride!
Fans will get a chance to fly on a Quinjet as part of Phase 2 of Avengers Campus.
Although full details of the attraction are not yet available, it has been revealed that it will include a battle in Black Panther’s country of Wakanda.
Keep an eye out for more details!
LEARN MYSTIQUE ARTS FROM DOCTOR STRANGE
Theatrical entertainment through the astral plane.
Stephen Strange slips into his caped suit with the Eye of Agamotto close to chest to educate all on the magic behind portals and the mirror dimension.
The show is already a guest favourite on Disney Cruises’ ships.
MEET YOUR FAVOURITE HEROES
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Disney Parks land without meet and greets.
Marvel favourites will roam around Avengers Campus offering photo opportunities and maybe even a little heroic training.
