It has been 25 years, maybe not right down to the day. But the Hocus Pocus witches are back & there’ll be hell to pay.

We’re going to need a couple of brooms and a heavy duty vacuum, because Winnie, Sarah and Mary are returning from their stoney deaths.

That’s right, the original Sanderson sisters aka Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, have all signed up to be apart of the long-awaited sequel.

It’s another glorious morning (afternoon now) indeed!

Parker confirmed the news on her Instagram when a fan asked if there was “any chance of a sequel”, to which she responded, “We have all said yes. Now we wait.”

Eeeeee, someone call a virgin!

The Hocus Pocus sequel most likely won’t need a lucky rats tail to reach success, as fans of the cult classic have been beggining for one since… pretty much since the movie was first released in 1994.

Although further details of the follow up are still unavailable (or perhaps haven’t even been worked out yet), writers will need to find a loophole to the original ending, which saw the trio explode into tiny particles after turning to stone.

Whatever they come up with, the Hocus Pocus sequel is bound to be amazing, especially with the original sisters on board!

BOOOOOOOK, make thyself known because mummy is almost home.

We know Halloween has passed, but click here to read why Hocus Pocus is one of our favourite movies to watch on the annual holiday.
