Arrow may be ending but the Arrowverse isn’t. In fact, it’s growing with Superman!

The CW announced today that it’s working up a new addition to the Arrowverse that’ll revolve entirely around the Man of Steel and everyone’s favourite news reporter.

That’s right, it’s a show on Superman & Lois Lane (and that, BTW, is what the project is called).

Tyler Hoechlin will reprise the role of Superman after successfully portraying the character several times on Supergirl, while Elizabeth Tulloch will do the same for Lois Lane.

According to The CW announcement, the show is “actively” being developed with each episode expected to run for around one-hour.

Expected to debut next season, Hoechlin and Tulloch are unsurprisingly estatic about the decision.

“@tylerhoechlin and I are so happy that we can finally talk about this project,” Tulloch said on Instagram.

“I am so excited.”

“Our incredible showrunner Todd Helbing is writing SUCH a riveting, unique, and poignant story for us. And I couldn’t ask for a better or more fun partner than Tyler.”

Hoechlin shared the same sentiment, saying on Instagram that he’s been “blessed with nothing less than the most wonderful people to do it [the show] alongside of”.

“Thank you to everyone that said “yes” to this project (Warner Brothers, DC, CW). We won’t let you down. It’s going to be a grand adventure. Can’t wait to get to work!”

Will you tune in to watch Superman & Lois Lane?
