Notify the little monsters that your house won’t be open for candy this Halloween because you’re off to get a real scare.

Madame Tussauds Sydney is getting into the spooky season with the launch of an after hours experience called ‘MELT’ that features a (completely fiction) serial killer.

Running over three nights only from 31 October to 2 November, the Halloween special invites horror-seekers to experience the wax-filled halls out of usual business hours, while solving puzzles and ‘making sacrifices’ to outsmart the resident serial killer named ‘The Artist’.

Described as an ‘immersive horror experience’, the 45-minute scare session promises a “fright of your life” filled with “jumps, scares, gory figures and more”.

Better bring a spare pair of panties… just in case.

Unfortunately (well, kind of), youngsters will need to be left at home and in the care of another trustworthy adult because it’s an 18+ event only (and regardless of how ‘young’ you may look, you’ll need to show ID at the door).

Tickets for MELT are on sale now for $50 per person and includes the spooky self-guided tour PLUS a free drink at HELM Bar & Bistro where wine will help calm your nerves.

There’s a maximum of 10 people per session. Tours start from 6.00pm, with the last tour entering at 10.30pm.

Does the idea of being surrounded by lifeless wax figures after dark scare the sh#t out of you?
