Potterheads have something seriously wicked to look forward to this year – 3 new books!
J.K Rowling & co. have been hard at work plotting and typing out new stories (sort of), which will magically arrive in stores in October.
According to publishing house, Bloomsbury, the release dates of two of the new books are timed to coincide with the launch of the British Library’s Harry Potter exhibition called ‘A History of Magic’.
So what are these new texts about?
Well, Harry Potter: A History of Magic – The Book of Exhibition will focus on the many subjects Harry Potter and his peers studied at Hogwarts.
Then there’s Harry Potter: A Journey Through The History of Magic, which will delve into mysterious areas of the supernatural such as alchemy, unicorns and ancient witchcraft.
And finally, there’s going to be an illustrated version of the third novel in the original Harry Potter series Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban.
All three books are expected to be in book stores this October.
