Funnier than “McAvoy or Stewart? These timelines are confusing”?
If you thought Wade Wilson’s crude comments, X-Men jokes, Wolverine obsession and sexual references were hilarious in the Deadpool movie (who didn’t?), then apparently you’re really going to enjoy the follow up film.
Sequels have a habit of rarely ever being as good as the original, but according to Josh Brolin, who plays Cable, the second Deadpool movie is funnier than the original.
Speaking to Good Morning America, the actor (who is also Thanos in the MCU) said initially he hesitated about joining Deadpool 2 and only agreed after reading the script. Apparently it had him in hysterics.
“When they asked me to do it I was like, I’m doing the Thanos thing right now and should I do it? And my wife said, just read it why are you thinking, just read it,” he explained.
“And I read it and laughed harder than I have in a very long time.”
Although it’s safe to assume that the majority of these stitch-inducing jokes will come from Ryan Reynolds’ character Deadpool, Brolin said viewers can also expect a few LOL moments from Cable.
“He [Cable] is a lot of different things, but he can also be very funny.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds put on the red spandex suit this month to start filming the sequel and was kind enough to share an on-set picture with Leslie Uggams who plays his roommate, Blind Al.
