She creeped in like a thief in the night (because she kind of is), kicked ass, helped save the world, died, came back to life and then…

Daredevil fans know we haven’t seen the last of Elektra (Elodie Yung) in Netflix’s Marvel dramas, and now we may know when we can expect her to pop up next.

While The Punisher, who made his debut in Daredevil’s season two along with Elektra, is set to star in his own series, Entertainment Weekly confirmed that the trained assassin will join Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist as a series regular in the super-team’s series.

This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to those that have finished watching the second season of Daredevil, during which the character was killed and then resurrected by a group of ‘mystical ninjas’ aka the Hand.

Nor, will it surprise those who checked out The Defenders teaser released at San Diego Comic-Con, which revealed that the foursome would be going against ‘a known enemy’, more specifically the Hand. Wonder if she’ll be on the good or ‘Hand’ side…

The Defenders is set to be released in 2017.
