Michael B. Jordan will go from Marvel hero in the Fantastic Four to Marvel villain in Black Panther’s first solo movie.
Entertainment giant, Marvel Studios, revealed a few details of the flick at San Diego’s Comic-Con this weekend, including the roles of various cast members.
Joining Chadwick Boseman in the movie will be Michael B. Jordan, who will play supervillain, Erik Killmonger – a genius with extensive fighting skills whose family was exiled from Wakanda.
There’s also Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong’o who have been cast as Okoye and Nakia – members of Black Panther’s all-female personal body guards, Dora Milaje.

Meanwhile, in a Q&A with Marvel Entertainment, Boseman said he’s pulling from a number of comic versions for his portrayal of the character.
“One of the most beautiful things about it is there’s so many things you can do and pull from,” he said.
“There’s a lot of the comic book history of the character, there’s different writers, different ways he’s drawn and different suits.”
Speaking of the Black Panther suit, Boseman described it like wearing “a wet suit, but times 10”.
He said the first time he put the suit on he thought, “how am I suppose to breathe”.
