What was riding so high up the Dark Knights… erm, dark knight, that he thought he could take on the Man of Steel?

It was a question many walked into Dawn of Justice asking, because Superman is almost always the good guy and Batman, well, he’s the one with questionable methods (what was with that bat branding :/ ouch).

Also why would you go against someone with laser eyes, the ability to fly AND has muscles upon muscles upon muscles?

Ahead of Wednesday’s release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on DVD and Blu-ray, Roadshow Entertainment has released a few scenes from the movie and among them is that intense conversation between Bruce Wayne and the ever-so-sarcastic Alfred on Superman as a potential “enemy”.

In it, Wayne tries to justify his planned attack on the Kryptonian, by blaming Superman for Zod’s attack on Earth in Man of Steel and claiming that the red and blue hero has the “power to take out the entire human race” (this may be true).

Watch the ‘how many good guys are left’ conversation below:

Of course, there’s more to his decision to attack like a certain time traveller stopping by with an urgent message and a little Lex Luthor manipulation.

If you haven’t watched the movie yet (or if you loved it as much as we did), you’ll have to pick up a copy of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray™, Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital when it arrives on 20 July. It’s full of explosive DC-style battles, there’s a genius villain, a mouth watering Ben Affleck workout scene and a bad ass Wonder Woman.

In the meantime, Roadshow Entertainment has also released a clip of Superman telling Batman to ‘stay down’:

Plus, there’s that testosterone-fueled first meeting of Clarke and Bruce at Lex Luthor’s gathering.
