The image of Loki being tossed back and forth in Tony Stark’s apartment is forever engraved in our brains.
The ‘battle’ between the trickster and the indestructible green giant, Hulk, may have only been brief in 2012’s The Avengers, but it was enough to make the short clip one of the more popular scenes in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
So, what will happen when the pair meet up again in Thor: Ragnarok?
Speaking at the Wizarding World in Philadelphia earlier this month, Tom Hiddleston said the pair’s reunion will be “fun”, particularly because Loki has “got a few chips on his shoulder”.
“Last time Loki and Hulk were in the same room it didn’t go very well for Loki,” he said. “So he’s got a few chips on his shoulder. It’s fun, you’ll see.”
Although he didn’t give very much away about their forthcoming meeting, he did say that the new movie will see an even more mischievous villain, which we think may be used towards irritating or getting even with the Hulk.
Hiddleston added that the movie, which is out in November next year, will reveal what the trickster has been up to the last four years and it may or may not answer whether Thor know Loki was pretending to be Odin in the final scene of Thor: The Dark World.
