Aussies have the chance to get up close and personal with… Wonder Woman!

Gal Gadot, the actress and model who totally blew us away as the Amazonian hero in the Batman v Superman trailer, is one of two confirmed celebrity guests for Supanova’s Sydney and Perth events.

The announcement was made late last year, prior to the release of the Dawn of Justice preview.

Gal Gadot made her film debut as Giselle in the Fast & Furious and went on to star in three movies in the franchise. She went on to do some modelling and appeared in a few TV shows before landing the gig as Princess Diana in the upcoming DC Universe.

Wonder Woman

As part of her hero contract, she’ll star in a standalone Wonder Woman movie scheduled for release in 2017 and a Justice League flick which will likely reunite her with her Dawn of Justice co-stars Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman) and Jason Mamoa (Aquaman).

The second guest confirmed for the 2016 Sydney and Perth Supanova event is James Marsters, who played the annoying yet loveable vampire Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. 

Marsters has attended past Australian conventions and is a popular guest amongst the fans.

Game of Thrones Joffrey

Meanwhile, Jack Gleeson who played the ruthless young leader, Joffrey, in Game of Thrones is listed to appear at the Gold Coast and Melbourne events along with Allison Mack from Wilfred and Christopher Judge from Stargate.

Supanova dates for 2016 are:

Gold Coast: 8-10 April
Melbourne: 15-17 April
Sydney: 17-19 June
Perth: 24-26 June
Brisbane: 11-13 November
Adelaide: 18-20 November
